St Muredach's is the most improved feeder school in Mayo, 2009-2018.

In December 2018, both the Irish Times and Irish Independent published the feeder school tables for 2018. The list showed which schools in the country are most successful at getting their students into third level education. We were delighted to see that St. Muredach’s recorded a progression rate of 100% last year — the highest in the county.

Now, this morning's Sunday Independent informs us that St Muredach's is the most improved school in Mayo over the past ten years, for sending students to third level. And while there is so much more to us than how many of our students advance to third level education, yet more public recognition of the academic excellence of our students and teaching staff is always welcome.
